ys the best plan for the money. Do your homework and compare details you will see 1&1 is actually a pretty good choice. Those with bad reviews are either just complaining like some people do, or they really don't know what they are comparing it to. Every company has a bad experience but I have proven to myself by doing my homework that 1&1 is the best choice for the money. There is better but some like rackspace start their smallest plans at over $700 monthly. Wow, that's too expensive for what I do, 1&1 is perfect for me. I host over 100 websites.

PS and they configured my server, transferred all of my domains, files, databases, email ... etc, from my previous company and even configured my DNS on my domain provider. Technical support is great they would do whatever you tell them and install any plugin you request. They even offered to fix an issue with my ticket system that they have nothing to do with. I'd definitely recommend them.

inux and asp. net windows servers i got most expensive plan they have for shared servers and i could not even deploy project i was told they don't support remote control and i asked for refund they trying now to hit me with free domain that i got with service which wont happen because i bought the service with my credit card so all i need is 1 call and i will get my money back scammers stay away !!! user interface is very bad you cant do nothing with their dashboard worst hosting in the world

A few years ago, just stopped all phone support. After that they shut my server completely down while I was on vacation (after being with them for 9 years and never missing a payment, they shut my server and all sites down over a $65 payment that didn't go through on a credit card). In June/July 2018, my service was down/spotty for 45 days while they corrected a server node issue. Over the last 2 months I have been migrating away from them to another company, but I needed to do it one site at a time (and updating each site as I go). Today, again my sites were down & could not log into root. You cant all anyone, so you open a ticket, or chat support. After I get on with chat support, bingo sites are working now (what the hell was the problem... we will never know). |
