For many years, I hosted several websites with all inkl. The provider detected an issue with one of my websites in December in a regular virus scan, b
...ut failed to send an alert (and I verified well that this was not a problem on my end). Since then, a virus spread throughout multiple sites. They then finally send me a message 22 days later (!) and proceed to block my full account after 2.5 weeks. So I came back from holidays to find ALL websites down, backups unavailable.
Support then proceeds to blame me for not updating the sites, and for not reacting to an issue that I had no knowledge of. The story told changes with every message. A simple email alert would have been enough to limit the damage and downtime.
If you are looking for a reliable provider, please go somewhere else.
